MFPA – an e-commerce website
The MFPA send out over 1,000,000 packs of Christmas cards, that, up until now, they have asked customers to pay for by posting in a cheque. With the new website we wanted to lift the entire impact of the website, allow for products to be purchased online, but crucially allow for these mailed products to be paid for online.
PM Design created the design and managed the content, and we did the rest. There were plenty of client meetings for discussion of the final solution, but what was crucial was that the process of paying for a product be as simple as possible due to their high proportion of older customers, removing some e-commerce conventions such as user accounts.
Visually, and experientially, the website has come a huge way from the previous version of the website, but with the integration of responsive design and improved accessibility it now has a greater reach as well as protecting the company’s brand. The thousands of purchases made so far have released the pressure on staff, increased revenue, and the client was delighted with the result.
