RSPCA Assured – a charity website
Freedom Food are part of the RSPCA, and recently rebranded as RSPCA Assured. To go with this rebrand and a TV advertising campaign, we rebuilt their website, the previous version of which we'd supported for years.
Freedom Food had a very clear idea that they wanted an 'App-like' feel, and with PM Design created a unique design. The technical challenges created by this were significant from both a HTML perspective, but also from a CMS. Fortunately Umbraco’s grid content feature was perfect for the job. With the help of JavaScript and a fair bit of device testing we achieved the desired result.
The site has a data-driven map, and significant use of Examine (Umbraco’s built-in search engine).
The client was very happy with the result, which was delivered on time and to budget.
