Tilney have several billion pounds of assets for their clients, providing financial planners and advisers, as well as their own managed funds. They approached me to rebuild their four main websites in Umbraco, their CMS of choice.

Working within Tilney‘s team, there were a significant number of technical and non-technical complexities. Most significantly were; a large number of editors, a collection of existing marketing tools, and search engine optimisation. In addition to building these sites, I had responsibility for architecting several improvements to their marketing tools which significantly increased the visibility of website usage and performance of marketing campaigns.

Over time it became apparent that there was lots of duplication of content, and a central repository of content would be of value. I built a headless CMS where shared content such as news could be created and the different websites pulled the content in from the central CMS.
